ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Lindsey Arndt scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead New Mexico, which pulled away from Bowling Green in the second half for a 73-43 women's basketball victory in the Lobo Shootout.
The Lobos led just 30-24 at halftime. After building a 45-32 margin, New Mexico (5-1) scored 15 straight points.
Liz Honegger and Carin Horne led the Falcons (4-4) with 10 points each. Honegger had eight rebounds.
Katie Montgomery tallied 17 for the Lobos.
NM shot 50 percent (38 of 56) from the floor to BG's 32 percent (16 of 50). At the free-throw line, the Lobos made 6 of 7 to the Falcons' 5 of 8.
Bowling Green will play in the consolation game at 8 tonight against Utah State, which lost 71-68 to San Diego State.
