BOWLING GREEN - Michigan's David Moss scored his second goal of the game last night with 13:00 left in the third period to break a 4-4 tie with Bowling Green and give the Wolverines a 5-4 win in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game before 4,537 fans.
Mike Falk, Derek Whitmore, James Unger and Ben Geelan scored goals for Bowling Green. Fourth-ranked Michigan also got goals from Jason Dest, Brandon Kaleniecki and T.J. Hensink.
BG goalie John Horrell made 29 saves, but lost his first game of the season.
UM goalie Al Montoya made 22 stops and upped his record to 13-4-1.
Bowling Green slipped to 8-6-2 overall and 5-5-2 in the CCHA.
Michigan is 13-4-1, 11-1-0 in the CCHA.
The Falcons take on Dartmouth on Dec. 29 in the Dartmouth Invitational.
