Notre Dame s Brown frustrates Falcons

SOUTH BEND, Ind. Two goals by Matt Amado spurred Notre Dame to a 3-0 lead and the Irish went on to a 4-2 victory over Bowling Green State University last night in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game.

Mike Falk s two thirdperiod goals brought the Falcons back to a 3-2 deficit with 7:28 remaining, but Tim Wallace iced it for Notre Dame (3-5-0, 2-2-0) with an empty-net goal with 1:40 left in the game.

Bowling Green (2-6-1, 2-4-1) outshot the Irish 38-22, but ND goalie David Brown made 36 saves.
