BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University football team was one of 33 programs penalized by the NCAA this week for poor Academic Progress Rates (APRs).
The Falcons were docked eight football scholarships for its APR score of 920, but the school's administration said Wednesday that it served the penalty during the 2008 season.
BGSU will not be required to reduce scholarships for 2009.
