Kevin Leady allowed two runs over 8 1/3 innings as the Bowling Green State University baseball team completed a three-game sweep of rival Toledo with a 4-2 victory at Scott Park on Sunday.
The Falcons (13-18-1, 6-6 Mid-American Conference) seized an early 4-0 lead with three runs in the second inning and another in the fourth.
But the Rockets (21-13, 8-4) made things interesting late, plating two runs in the ninth and chasing Leady from the game.
BG reliever Ross Gerdeman closed the door from there by wiggling out a bases-loaded jam by coaxing a fielder's choice and a popout to end the game.
