BGSU men's basketball game against Buffalo to be televised by STO
The Mid-American Conference and SportsTime Ohio announced Thursday that the Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team's game at Buffalo to conclude the regular season will take place on Saturday, March 3 at 6 p.m. and will be televised by STO.
The contest will mark the fifth time that the Falcons will have appeared on STO during the 2011-12 season. The Falcons are 2-1 so far in such contests -- beating Ohio and Northern Illinois at home while losing at Eastern Michigan. Also yet to be televised is BGSU's home game against Kent State on Saturday, Feb. 25. It will be broadcast on STO at 6 p.m.
Buffalo and Bowling Green are two of the top five teams in the MAC standings. The Bulls are tied for second, while the Falcons hold sole possession of fifth place. When the two teams met earlier this year in the Stroh Center, BGSU’s attempted game-tying shot was blocked as time ran out to give the Bulls a 68-66 win.
Bowling Green is 13-12 on the season and 7-5 in MAC play. Buffalo is 16-7 overall and 9-3 in conference action.
