Rugged schedule in place for Bowling Green State University women's basketball team

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team of first-year coach Jennifer Roos will face a rugged non-conference schedule that includes a pair of road games against Big 10 opponents.
The Falcons will open at home against Madonna on Saturday, Nov. 10, then hit the road for four contests, including a road game at Purdue Nov. 19. BG also will play at Northwestern Dec. 9.
Among the top home contests on the non-conference schedule is a game against WNIT participant Temple Nov. 28 and a game with NCAA tournament team Dayton on Dec. 30.
Bowling Green will open its Mid-American Conference schedule against Kent State on Thursday, Jan. 10. The Falcons will host arch-rival Toledo at the Stroh Center on Sunday, Jan. 13.
