BOWLING GREEN -- Flint, Mich., native J.D. Tisdale said Tuesday that he would sign a national letter of intent to join the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team.
Tisdale is a 6-5 guard from Swartz Creek High School who made the announcement on his Twitter account and confirmed it in a phone interview. Last season Tisdale averaged 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists per game for the Dragons.
Tisdale is the third player to verbally commit to the Falcons, joining guard Zack Denny and forward Garrett Mayleben.
NCAA rules prohibit BGSU coach Louis Orr from commenting on prospective players until they have signed their national letter of intent.
