Archbold man killed in crash

WAUSEON -- A 41-year-old Archbold, Ohio, resident has been found dead in a vehicle that was found today submerged in water in a ditch along the Wauseon Reservoir in Fulton County's Clinton Township.

Michael A. Rocha was driving a 1995 Saturn SC1 Coupe southbound on County Road 15, south of County Road C near Wauseon, when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and overturned into the water-filled ditch, according to troopers with the Toledo Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. A passerby saw the vehicle and reported it to law enforcement officials about 11 a.m. today.

Mr. Rocha was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. He was not wearing a safety belt.

It is not yet known what time or date the crash, which remains under investigation, occurred.
