Buckeye CableSystem has reported sporadic outages of its customers' Internet connection.
Joseph Jensen, the company's chief technology officer, said the outages across the company's service area began Friday evening.
By about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the company had all its available resources busy fixing the problem, Mr. Jensen said. The outages had significantly reduced in number over a few hours before that time, according to Mr. Jensen.
Mr. Jensen said he did not have an estimate of how many customers were affected.
The problem started when "changes were made to support new equipment," he said.
