OWENS MEN 89, SINCLAIR 85
DAYTON - Owens Community College rallied in the second half for an Ohio Community College Athletic Association victory over Sinclair CC last night, running its season record to 15-2 overall and 2-0 in the OCCAC after trailing 42-37 at halftime.
Marques Fobbs and Dajuan Tate led the Express, ranked No. 4 nationally in Division II, with 29 and 20 points, respectively, and Tate had 11 rebounds. Sinclair fell to 4-9 and 0-2.
OWENS WOMEN 71, SINCLAIR 68
DAYTON - Stacey Weiland scored 17 points, had 10 rebounds and five steals, and blocked a Sinclair shot at the buzzer to preserve a win for Owens.
Michelle Vorst also scored 17 points for the Express (11-4).
Adra Calvin led Sinclair (6-4) with 21 points.
