Carroll leads Notre Dame at Big East championships

Toledoan Katie Carroll was named most outstanding women s swimmer at

the Big East championships, helping Notre Dame win the title.

The senior, who graduated from Notre Dame Academy, won the 400-yard individual

medley and was second in the 200 butterfly.
