BUFFALO - The University of Toledo women's swimming and diving team trails Ohio University in the Mid-American Conference meet. The Rockets have 416.5 points for second place, while Ohio has 426.5 points.
Sophomore Meghan Reissig set a new MAC record with her first-place finish in the 400 individual medley with 4:19.10. Also gathering points in the event were sophomore Caitlin Cormack and senior Christa Salerno. Cormack swam a career-best 4:29.47 and moves into third place on the all-time list. Salerno swam 4:36.60 for eighth place.
Amanda Thompson finished in fifth place in the 200 butterfly with 55.53. Swimming a season best in the 200 butterfly was Shannon Hazelton with 57.60.
