Notes: The Buckeyes make their first trip to Lincoln for what had been anticipated to be a historic meeting between one of the kings of the Big Ten's old guard and its tradition-rich newest member. However, Ohio State comes in at less than full strength as the tattoo and memorabilia scandal continues to result in collateral damage. Senior offensive tackle Mike Adams and defensive end Solomon Thomas return to the field after five-game suspensions, while wide receiver DeVier Posey and running back Dan Herron remain suspended and are joined in the penalty box by offensive lineman Marcus Hall.
