Trial lawyers group honors local prosecutor

Jeff Lingo, the chief of the criminal division for the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, was recently named a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

The college is made up of the top trial lawyers in the U.S. and fellowship is gained by invitation only.

A graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law, Mr. Lingo has been practicing law for 22 years. He was hired by Lucas County in 1997 and was named chief of the criminal division late last year.
