8-year term ordered for role in home invasion

A Toledo man was sentenced in Lucas County Common Pleas Court Tuesday to eight years in prison for his role in a May home invasion on Brandon Road.

Gabriel Demiguel, 20, of 505 Glenwood Rd. was sentenced to five years in prison for one count of aggravated robbery plus an additional three years for the attached gun specification. He had pleaded guilty to the count on Nov. 29. Judge Myron Duhart ordered that the sentence be served concurrently to a total of 5 years and 10 months ordered in July in an unrelated case.

Demiguel admitted involvement in a May 30 home invasion at 5122 Brandon.
