A Toledo man accused of intentionally breaking his baby son's leg was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Friday on a felony charge of endangering children.
Jesus Rivera, 18, of 1240 Slater St. faces up to eight years in prison if convicted. He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $45,000 bond.
Mr. Rivera is accused of grabbing his 4-month-old son's leg June 10 and rolling the boy over in the bed, causing a spiral fracture, court documents state. The baby is with the boy's maternal grandparents, authorities said.
Mr. Rivera is also charged with assault and aggravated menacing in Toledo Municipal Court, accused of grabbing a juvenile April 14, shoving him into a wall, and pointing a gun at him, court documents state.
