A new trial date of Feb. 25 has been scheduled in Lucas County Common Pleas Court for four Toledo men charged with crimes associated with the robbery and fatal shooting of a man at East Toledo’s Ravine Park Village.
Andrew Goetz of 614 Earl St. and Chaz Jackson of 1158 Clark St., both 28, are each charged with aggravated murder, murder, and aggravated robbery, all with gun specifications.
They are charged in the robbery and shooting death Oct. 5 of Jonathan Morris, 22.
Also facing charges are Jonathon Johnson, 22, of 1657 Vance St., and Leon Jefferson, 28, of 1543 Craigwood Rd.
The men are charged with obstructing justice for allegedly interfering with the investigation by giving false information to detectives.
In addition to setting the trial date, Judge Frederick McDonald continued the $1 million bonds set for Mr. Goetz and Mr. Jackson, as well as a $25,000 bond for Mr. Johnson.
He granted a request from Mr. Jefferson to be placed on electronic monitoring.
