A Toledo man who robbed three banks is to be sentenced next Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. Oscar Banks, 47, of 828 Magnolia St. pleaded no contest Monday to three counts of robbery. Judge Stacy Cook found him guilty.
Banks admitted to holding up the downtown Huntington Bank, 519 Madison Ave., Dec. 4 and Jan. 2, and the downtown PNC Bank, 405 Madison Ave., on Jan. 3. Anthony Rayford, 47, of 624 Elm St., also is charged with robbery in the Jan. 2 holdup.
