2 men draw 17 months in prison for shootings

BLADE STAFF

Two Toledo men who shot at two men in what was believed to have been a dispute over gang territory each were sentenced Wednesday to 17 months in prison.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings imposed the sentence on Terrance Allen, 21, of 633 Detroit Ave. and Lamondre Gaston, 23, of 926 Hamilton St.

Both entered Alford pleas and were found guilty May 30 to a reduced charge of aggravated assault for a Nov. 6 incident in which Delano Wellington and Christopher Bates were shot at on a porch in the 1000 block of Avondale Avenue.
