Lucas County dogs for adoption: 1-11

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed Jan. 10 by the Lucas County Dog Warden's Office: Breed and description; location seized; charge, if any:

"Pit bull," black and white male, unlicensed, dog aggression, Belmont Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull," orange and white female, unlicensed, dog aggression, Colburn Street, Toledo, running at large. 

"Pit bull," white and orange male, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, Wenz Road, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull" mix, white and brown male, unlicensed, stray, dog aggression, Douglas Road, Toledo.

Husky/Labrador mix, orange and white male, licensed, bite history, surrendered by Jennifer Peck, 286th Street, Toledo.

"Pit bull" mix, orange and white male, licensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, surrendered by Brigette Heard, Robinwood Avenue, Toledo.

"Pit bull," black and white female, licensed, fearful/unsafe, surrendered by Frederick Adams, Pitt Street, Toledo. 

Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred Jan. 4-9 to Club Pet Resort & Spa, Lucas County Pit Crew, and Toledo Area Humane Society by the Lucas County Dog Warden's Office:

Chinese crested dog, gray and white male, stray, Anthony Wayne Trail, Toledo.

"Pit bull" mix, white and brown female, stray, East Bancroft Street, Toledo. 

"Pit bull" mix, black and white female, stray, Waggoner Boulevard, Toledo.

Seven Labrador mix puppies — six males (four black and white, a tan, and a tan, sable, and white) and a tan, sable, and white female — surrendered by Jordin Conklin, East 5th Street, Toledo.
