Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 5/24/2013

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed May 21 and 22 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

“Pit bull,” brindle and white male, licensed, dog died at pound of possible seizure, surrendered by Jerry Moore, Kenilworth Avenue, Toledo.

Labrador retriever mix, orange and white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had parvo, South Detroit Avenue, Toledo.
