Lake High School
Evan Prielipp, a senior from Walbridge, plans to study mechanical engineering at the University of Toledo. He has a 4.48 grade-point average and enjoys science and history.
The recipient of several academic achievement awards, Evan participated in the University of Toledo foreign language competition for three years, and the Youth Leadership Toledo program as a sophomore.
Evan is a member of the Spanish Club and the baseball team, and he is active in the St. Peter's Church youth group. He does community service through his church and enjoys helping the elderly.
Caryl Barnek, Advanced Placement calculus teacher, describes Evan as courteous and self-motivated. "He is an intelligent young man, and it has been my privilege to have him as a student."
Evan is the son of Harold Prielipp and Debra Allgire.
