Cheer for a Cure raised record $31,000 in February
Last month's sixth annual Cheer for a Cure competition raised a record $31,000 for the American Cancer Society, $6,000 more than the fund-raiser's goal for this year.
This year's amount is nearly three times last year's $12,000 donation. So far, the cheerleading competition has raised more than $58,000 for the American Cancer Society.
