Hazardous waste disposal Saturday for Ottawa County residents

Ottawa County residents may take household hazardous wastes — including paints, pesticides, varnish, batteries, and motor oil — to the Ottawa County Fairgrounds this Saturday.

The Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca Joint Solid Waste District will collect items from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday from residents whose last names start with letters A through M and from 10:30 a.m. to noon from residents whose last names start with letters N through Z.

The fairgrounds is at West State Rt. 163, Oak Harbor. Residents should stay in their vehicles while the items are being unloaded.
