Residents of Ottawa, Sandusky, and Seneca counties can attend a May 25 workshop about how to compost yard waste, food scraps, and other organic materials.
Registration and a $5 fee are required for either of the workshop's two sessions, to be held at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. May 25 at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, 14000 West St. Rt. 2, Benton Township, north of Rocky Ridge.
To register, call the Ottawa County Soil & Water Conservation District at 419-898-1595. Registration is required by Friday.
