A flyover of F-16s from the 180th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Toledo Express Airport and a keynote address from a retired U.S. Army chaplain will highlight a Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday at Clay High School's Memorial Stadium.
Veterans are encouraged to display their military service colors during the ceremony, which will be in the area of memorials to those who served and lost their lives in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam War.
The Rev. Patrick J. Rohen, a priest in the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, will give the address. He has served in the Air Force, Ohio Army National Guard, and Army, retiring as an Army captain in 2007.
