2nd phase to start for Oregon sewer project

Construction is to begin this week on the second phase of Oregon’s sanitary sewer rehabilitation project.

The existing sanitary sewers on Cresceus and Mambrino roads and those on Grasser Street between Pickle Road and Dearborn Avenue will be replaced. The project also includes relining the sanitary sewer on Wheeling Street between Bleeker Street and Navarre Avenue. Property owners are not being assessed for the improvements.

One lane of traffic will be maintained through the work sites for local traffic, but segments of road might need to be closed to all traffic. Anyone with questions is advised to call the city’s service department at 419-698-7043.
