Northwood police now will charge $30 for fingerprinting. The fee is meant to offset the increased cost of taking the prints electronically. The city used to charge $10 when the prints were taken with cards.
At the city council meeting last week, Mayor Mark Stoner reported that funds collected from fines, forfeitures, and costs in mayor’s court totaled $14,159.70 for July. Fines were collected in the amount of $3,625.70, forfeitures were $4,610, and costs $5,924.
