GENOA -- The Genoa High School Alumni Band will take the field at the homecoming game against Lake High School Friday, and former high school band members are invited to join the festivities.
Participants will meet at 5:45 p.m. outside the band room and march to the stadium with the high school band. The alumni band will take the field before the game and play “Carmen Ohio” (Latin for “Song of Ohio”), and “Harvardiana” (the school song). Sheet music and instruments will be available if needed. A practice will be held at the high school today from 7:15 to 8 p.m.

The 10th Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 29 in the middle school/high school building. The $25 tickets can be purchased at the athletic office or by calling Mike Thomas at 419-885-7791, ext. 21105. The deadline for ordering tickets is Friday.
