LANSING, Mich. Michigan s unemployment rate rose slightly to 6.8 percent in March, the state said yesterday.
Michigan s seasonally adjusted jobless rate was 6.6 percent in February. The rate has increased for two consecutive months since January, when a 6.2 percent mark qualifi ed as the state s lowest rate in nearly four years.
The national unemployment rate in March was 4.7 percent.
