NAPOLEON Plastech Engineered Products told Ohio offi cials yesterday that it would shutter its plastics manufacturing plant in this Henry County town in 60 days, ending jobs for 218 workers.
Layoffs are to begin June 16, the firm said in a required closing notice to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
The closing likely will be a major blow to Napoleon and the county, which had 1,200 unemployed workers in February with a 7.4 percent jobless rate.
