Even as the statewide jobless rate rose last month, most of rates in northwest Ohio counties fell from March but were higher than the year-ago fi gure, according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The highest rate locally was in Huron County, at 8.2 percent. The lowest was in Hancock County, at 4.6 percent.
