The rates in other metro counties are: in Wood, 7.5 percent last month, up from 7.2 percent the month before; in Fulton, 7.1 percent, up from 7 percent; and in Ottawa, 8.3 percent, up from 7.8 percent.

The unemployment in June also rose in several other northwest Ohio counties.

The statewide rate, released last week, dipped to 7.2 percent last month from 7.3 percent the month before. The national rate, released more than two weeks ago, was unchanged at 8.2 percent.
