BLUFFTON, Ohio Bluffton University has established a partnership with the Baton Rouge Senior Medical Center in Lima to offer senior citizens learning opportunities in that area.
Beginning next month, Bluffton s Institute for Learning Retirement courses, which are geared toward retirees who want to remain active learners, will be offered at the retirement community, 2440 Baton Rouge Ave.
The program will be called the Bluffton University Senior Education Center at Baton Rouge of Lima..
The six-week courses will be offered on Tuesdays, with the first term beginning Jan. 20 and running through Feb. 24. Class topics will include creative writing, movies, and Japanese culture.
In addition, Bluffton University offers such courses at its main campus, and the spring classes there will include a look at the changes of the English language, old-time radio shows, and study of music styles
