Toledo Public Schools will offer evening registration for incoming kindergarten pupils at 20 elementary schools tomorrow.
The district is trying to register students as early as possible, and evening registration is an opportunity to reach parents who are not available during the day, Jane Bruss, the executive director of communications, said.
Registration will be conducted 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Arlington, Birmingham, Crossgates, East Side Central, Fall-Meyer, Fulton, Glenwood, Keyser, Lagrange, Larchmont, Lincoln, Longfellow, Marshall, McKinley, Newbury, Ottawa River, Pickett, Reynolds, and Riverside elementary schools, as well as at Washington Kindergarten Center, which serves Cherry and Stewart pupils.
Parents or guardians need their child's birth certificate or hospital certificate, their child's immunization records, and three documents that prove residency.
Regular registration will occur at those schools and the district's other 24 elementary schools May 1-3.
