Tiffin U. plans service for pair killed in crash

TIFFIN - A memorial service will be held Monday at Tiffin University for two students who died in an auto accident Saturday on I-65 in Tennessee.

The service for Margaret Gutzwiller and Elizabeth Snyder, both members of the university's women's soccer team, will begin at 3:15 p.m. in the Osceola Theater at the Gillmor Student Center.

Ms. Gutzwiller, 19, of Cincinnati and Ms. Snyder, 20, of Tipp City, Ohio, were killed when the car they were riding in drifted off I-65 and flipped several times. The women and a third Tiffin University student, Abigail Lee Mock, were on their way to Florida for spring break. Ms. Mock, who was driving the car, was treated for a minor injury.

Walter Zielinski, the school's vice president for student affairs, said counselors and clergy members will be available Monday when students return to campus.
