Defiance College names McMaster school dean

DEFIANCE Defiance College officials have named a new dean for the McMaster School for Advancing Humanity.

Charles Warren, who s the retired president of Lynchburg College in Virginia, will assume his new role on Sept. 7.

Mr. Warren will replace the school s first dean, Dr. F.J. Talley, who resigned his position earlier this summer. Craig Rutter, director of service learning, will continue as the school s interim dean through the end of the month.

The McMaster school was created in 2002 with a donation from Harold McMaster and his wife, Helen.
