TPS plans kickoff for levy campaign

Toledo Public Schools today officially will kick off its campaign in support of a 6.5-mill operating levy renewal on the November ballot.

School officials, along with high school bands and cheerleaders, will meet at 4:30 p.m. in Rogers High School, 5539 Nebraska Ave.

The rally also will be a celebration of the district's state rating being raised last month from academic emergency to continuous improvement.
