Student of the Week: Heather Beck

Heather Beck, a senior from Millbury, plans to attend college in Washington, D.C. or California to study international affairs. Her favorite subjects are Spanish and history and she carries a 4.0 grade point average.

Heather is editor of the yearbook, co-president of student council, and member of the track and field hockey teams and community service club. She enjoys working with migrant labor camps in the Toledo area, volunteering as a teacher and tutor.

"Heather has mastered the curriculum with apparent ease and an abundance of good grace," said Bruce Carr, head of the upper school. "She is a dependable, cheerful, efficient and mature student."

She is the daughter of Patrick Beck.
