Student of the Week: Angelica Torres

Angelica Torres, a senior from Toledo, plans to go to college and major in international business and marketing. She enjoys science and marketing and carries a 4.0 grade point average.

Angelica placed second at the Distributive Education Clubs of America District and IA competitions and is among DECA's top 10 at the state level. She was chosen as Libbey High School's most valuable volleyball player.

She is a member of the pom pom squad, marching band, dance team and prom committee, and is a tutor.

Teacher Roy Allen describes Angelica as "an outstanding student who works well with staff, fellow students and the community. It has been a pleasure to have her at Libbey High School."

Angelica is the daughter of Usevio Torres.
