Ashley Klima, a senior from Ottawa Lake, plans to attend the University of Toledo' pre-veterinarian program in the fall. She will attend Monroe County Community College in the summer. Her career goal is to be a veterinarian with a specialty in wild cats. Ashley enjoys physical education and carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Ashley is a four-year academic letter winner and recipient of the scholar athlete award and the presidential fitness award. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish club and band, captain of the cheerleading squad, and runs cross-country and track. She attends St. Clement's Church.
"Ashley has been an outstanding leader for our student body as an athlete and student," said assistant principal John Flynn. "She has volunteered her time willingly and will be an asset to her college of choice or chosen work place."
Ashley is the daughter of Bob and Deb Klima.
