Penta breaks ground on new $90.6M campus

Penta Career Center officially broke ground yesterday on its new $90.6 million campus, with a ceremony attended by students and staff.

The 522,000-square-foot facility, bordered by I-75 and Buck, Bates, and Lime City roads, is to open in 2009.

The larger campus will allow the school to expand the programs it offers to high school students in 16 districts.

Site preparation has begun, and construction is scheduled to begin in the spring.
