Student of the Week: Bridget Fritsch

Bridget Fritsch, a senior from Clay Center, plans to attend Bowling Green State University and pursue a career as either a professional musician or a math teacher. She has a 3.9 grade-point average and enjoys math and music.

Bridget is a member of the district band and the Bowling Green State University sight reading clinic band, as well as the Genoa High School band. She is a drum major and participant in her church youth group.

Bridget is involved in various community service projects. She recently chaired the Holiday Bureau Organization.

"Bridget always strives to do her best," said Briann Edwards, high school band director. "She does not accept mediocrity from herself. She pushes herself to the point where she can be happy with and appreciate her performance."

Bridget is the daughter of Brad and Joan Fritsch.
