PORT CLINTON A Port Clinton High School sophomore was a finalist in the Ohio State Bar Association s There Ought To Be A Law essay contest.
Melissa Fox s essay was chosen as one of the top six in Ohio in her age group.
This is the highest level any Port Clinton High student has ever finished in the contest. The top two essayists received scholarships.
The essay subject was about the need for a law that re-evaluates all-or-nothing state tests, such as the graduation test.
