FOSTORIA The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Fostoria Community Schools a $1.2 million grant to expand an after-school program.
Assistant Superintendent Connie Dorr said the money will allow the school to expand its Project Success (Schools United in a Caring Community Ensuring Students Success) for five more years. The program began last school year at Riley Elementary School and will be expanded for the next school term to include grades three through eight, she said.
