Dr. Jeffrey Gold, the University of Toledo's provost, executive vice president for health affairs, and dean of the college of medicine, was elected yesterday to an American Medical Association council.
The 12-member council formulates national policy on medical education.
He was nominated by the Society for Thoracic Surgeons.
