Students at St. John s Jesuit High School are celebrating their global exchange program with International Week 2008.
The activities, which began yesterday and run through Friday, include the playing of national anthems, flag displays, cultural food days, and multi-lingual television broadcasts, officials said.
The World as One Day on Thursday, considered the peak of the events, will include guest speakers and presentations about their home countries by participants in the school s World as One exchange program.
There are 11 international students participating in this fifth year of the program, which promotes mutual understanding and respect for differing cultures.
