More than 700 students from northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan are expected to attend the University of Toledo's Latino Youth Summit tomorrow.
Motivational speaker Carlos Ojeda, Jr., will give the keynote address during the event, which will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union on UT's main campus.
The summit is designed to reinforce the importance of education for Latino students. It includes workshops on careers in education, business, engineering, science, and medicine.
