The Scott Alumni Association will host a public walk-through of Scott High School, 2400 Collingwood Blvd., as part of an ongoing campaign promoting renovation of the building.
The guided walk-through is scheduled for today upon the conclusion of a 5:30 p.m. meeting at the school of the Toledo Board of Education s Ohio School Facilities Commission committee. The school board will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow.
Alumni association members and the Old West End Association have formed a Save Our Scott campaign and started a petition drive calling on the school district to renovate the building to its former grandeur. Built in 1913, Scott is the oldest standing public high school in Toledo.
